Kissing Cowboys Make John Wayne Cry
First off, I'm so incredibly sorry for being MIA for the past week or so. RL has been kicking my ass, etc excuses-cakes. I suck.
But you know who sucks worse than me? The homophobic, narrow-minded bigoted conservative fuckhead who draws Prickly City, and The Washington Post for publishing it. GRRRRR. There's a scene in this movie Go, where Katie Holmes & this guy are talking about the Family Circus strip - "It's always there, in the corner, just WAITING TO SUCK!" - and how you want to not read it, but you just can't help it. That's exactly how I feel about Prickly City, contaminating my glorious comics page experience every morning. Every day it's some lame, unfunny slam on evil liberals, the PC-police (like political correctness has even existed since 1994), femininazis, Hillary Clinton, etc etc... your basic Rush Limbaugh kind of shit. However, today's strip went beyond annoying and straight to infuriating.
GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH. What the fuck?
Seriously, I want to smash something right now. Preferably, Scott Stantis' drawing table into itty bitty little pieces, so he can never draw another hateful strip ever again.
