Bleach Pairings: A quick addendum
Some more pairing musings, the very short "omg love" version.
Ichigo/Orihime: Okay, zomg you're adorable. You won a while back, I've been writing fic for you, but I don't think anything I wrote could top what's happening in the series. ♥ Ee.
Rukia/Renji: (She tops him so hard.) I've been too busy squealing over various Hueco Mundo developments of late, but wow. What little we do see of the two of them is just adorable. From his straight-faced tolerance of the fluffy diagrams she holds up behind his back to the way he wears whatever ridiculous clothes she picks out for him to that pretty moment where he showed up at her back to help Ichigo with her. Just, so cute. They work very very well together.
Aizen/Gin: Absolute evil sexy love. Pretty much period. And as kay_willow lamented not so long ago, there is VERY LITTLE of it online. I'm talking Google searches of the entire internet that yield maybe ten fics, total, many of which were incredibly badly written. I'm talking about a search so futile I actually used Babelfish to translate something written in French. The few authors that write the pairing at any length also do it in a way that doesn't appeal to me, SO.
(P.S., as evil as Aizen is, Gin's obvious silent enjoyment of his place at the man's side, that part where he went to fight Renji on Aizen's behalf, and of course Aizen's implication that no one in the Soul Society (except for Gin, and likely Tousen) understood him and his famous "I've thought of no one other than this man as my lieutenant ever since I became a captain" line, would all seem to indicate that their relationship, if sexual, would involve very little painful rape and mistrust. So um. Stop that.)
Renji/Rukia/Ichigo: Yes, stop looking at me like that. D: I don't go in for OT3, I never have, and I love Ichigo/Orihime so much that I don't even know if I could ever write this myself. But the interaction between the three of them, the way Rukia and Renji keep teaming up to beat him senseless for being an idiot, it's just too cute. Plus, staring at the three of them makes me a little confused on how you can seriously pair Rukia/Ichigo alone, because Rukia's interaction with Ichigo is identical to Renji's. If the violence is love from one person, and Ichigo likes it, um....??
It should be obvious from the title of this post, but obviously this is not a very inclusive list. I like a lot of other pairings, and love the interactions between even more. But these are the big three, plus my guilty gigglefest. Omg, is there really another chapter coming out tomorrow, I can't wait.
