Beware all ye who enter here: I might complain about a pairing you like. Trust me, it's not the pairing I'm complaining about. It's the idiotic way it's being presented.

I don't know. XD I've never found fanlistings to really be of any use, 'cause like you've mentioned, there's no content. Its like, great, I've read your platonic reasons about why this pairing is totally 'right', and then...there's...nowhere to go except hit the back browser. XD

I know, right? Bah, waste of space. Make a SHRINE. At LEAST do that much. But ninety percent of them seem to be composed of "Copy-pasted text intro, Copy-pasted text 'About', Link to 'Codes', Link to List of Fans Who Don't Even Have Relevant Websites, Link to 'Home'". What the hell is the point of that. :\

Its like...to comfort other people and assure them that they still believe in the pairing? XD I don't know. AT LEAST PUT UP SOME USEFUL links, y'know? Maybe... I'm actually just pretty addicted to fanfiction right now. And fanart, never shall I leave out the fanart. They deserve love too. ;~;

I dunno; I always figured a shrine was more for oneself (and the character) than other people, so that part, I wouldn't worry about if it were me. XD I've felt differently in the past, but at the moment I'm kinda like, who cares if anyone ELSE believes in a pairing! I do. :D

(But then, I tend to like really mainstream pairings, even in my slash. Which is to say, usually not something that's CANON, but something that has a lot of accumulated canon moments that show how much they care about each other, even if only in a friendly way. Axel/Roxas is a new type of this for me, given Axel's nigh "I loved him" sentiment in Betwixt and Between, and Sora/Riku is the most adorable best friend slash ever.

(But like, I tend to avoid most Organization XIII slash; aside from the aforementioned one, the only pairing I really believe in is Marluxia/Larxene; and I'll opt for some manipulative porn with Axel in the mix there, or some very-slightly-sexual tormenting of Namine by Larxene. I like the idea of Demyx/Xigbar because to me that explains how ( ... )

Oh, I meant to aim that previous statement towards fanlistings, not shrines. Shrines I think are a collaboration of fanfiction/fanart/media/etc that a person's trying to share with everyone else. Its both for them, and for other people in my opinion.

[ooc: XD I'm a RokuAku fan, 'cause I frankly believe Roxas to be emotionally dominant in the relationship. Though, I don't know. I tend to like tidbits about the pairing other people don't. I kind of think what makes RokuAku so interesting to me is how much Axel really loved Roxas, and how Roxas was able to leave him behind so easily ( ... )
