(no subject)
So, I totally didn't announce in here that I was going to Devon for a week, which might have been a good idea. But I'm back, and I have two weeks left before I go back to Lancaster, which means I am going to explode sometime soon with all teh crazy stuff I have to do before then!!!
I also have numerous pages of flist entries to read so I'm going to take some time this afternoon and work my way through those with a cup of tea to hand. Mmm, tea.
But everything is good - I have FABRIC for my San dress, and a pattern, yippee!!!! That's a huge weight off my mind because having a pattern will make everything so much easier. And the pattern is almost exactly what I was looking for.
Yesterday I felt pretty dead all day because I went out clubbing in London the previous night with friends from uni. It was really great seeing them again, especially my friend Alina, because she's now graduated and won't be coming back to Lancaster *sob*.
I got in from my night out at about 7.15am. T_T Luckily my awesome sister margaretdumont kindly offered to pick me up from the station, so I didn't have to walk home with achey feet in the cold morning. I went to bed at about 8am after writing a note to my mum so she wouldn't wake me up ... and then she woke me up anyway at about midday because she hadn't read the note. *headdesk*
It was okay though. I felt exhausted all day, but I was awake when dad got home from his week in Qatar and I just loafed for most of the day, watched Princess Mononoke AGAIN and then went to bed at about 9pm and fell asleep almost immediately.
*stretches* I'm feeling much more alive today. The sun is shining, and now I'm off on a mission to Marks and Spencers to help dad buy some belated anniversary flowers for mum.
