So, I have been trying to document my work more. We are deep in the throes of Haunt prep, being that Haunt opens a week from tomorrow. We are feverishly working ourselves cranky getting ready for it all. I had been trying to post a picture a day of my work to my Twitter feed, when I realized I really should be doing it here also... since this is a much more permanent account.
So here they are! Pictures from the last weekish of work I wish I had gotten a picture of Warehouse P after we set it up. There was a great view I had from atop a ladder. Its an impressive set up, really. When you can just stand back and look at it.
Alas.
Camp Spooky
Friday - 9/04
Hats for not-scary scarecrows
Camp Spooky
Friday - 9/04 See?
Aren't they cheerful and cute?
The Hanging 09 - Storm Shadow
Wed - 9/09 This one was fun to make, though somewhat harrowing as I screwed it up the first time and had to start over. So it took a lot longer than I wanted, and that was stressing me out.
Boobs!
Thurs - 9/10 Boobs are hard... hard to get even, and nice and round.
The Hanging 09 -- Scarlett
Fri - 9/11 Boobs finished! I had to make sure I made them extra big so they'd read under all the black faux-neoprene. Also, Scarlett is seriously stacked.
Thread
Fri - 9/11 I pulled all this thread out of the wheels of my chair. It accumulated over approx 8 months.
The Hanging 09 -- Muscle Dude
Sat - 9/12 Some GI Joe guy whose name I cannot remember. It is after I finish this guy, and the unpictured Baroness that I learn I will be making the rest of the GI Joe guys also.
The Hanging 09 -- GI Joe
Tues 9/14 - I made two of these guys, just generic GI Joe. I have basically built every costume from this movie, myself. Its been pretty fun, really. And Tim seems pleased. I have been feeling a little overwhelmed, however.
Now if only my machine would stop stitching so stupid, it would make making all this crap so much easier! I am moving onto Watchmen next. Just the one costume though (cross your fingers).
