Bummer! Every chance at snow this year has totally fizzled out. DC, you are LAME. Even Atlanta is better than you this winter.
So. The guys at work have been talking about taking a day off and going here to ski, and I think I might join them. But I feel very insecure on skis, so it would probably be best if Adoraboy stayed home. Orrrr.... maybe I could ask for some pointers? ;)
I took a few lessons in Utah, but it was on the trip from hell where my ex-BF's future wife tried to off me by putting me on a scary blue course the first time I was ever on skis back when I didn't know the difference between green vs. double black. I seriously thought I was going to die. I WAS TOLD THERE'D BE NO DEATH. Who puts a noob her first time on skis on a scary blue whatever course in the Rocky Mountains, other than someone who wants to steal your boyfriend and "accidental" slalom-ing is too good an opportunity to pass up.
What. I am not paranoid! Stop looking at me like that.
Well, it all works out in the end. They're married now, with kiddies. And I am alive and safe at sea level.
Chuck is being rerun on the Sci-Fi channel! 8pm on Fridays. (Hey, that's tonight!) It's silly, enjoyable fun. And one of the characters is called "Captain Awesome." Which is totally. ... that's right. You fill it in. I'm not going to do everything for you.
Since it's only raining here now (I'm disappointed in you, Chief Meteorologist Doug Hill from Channel 7, if that's your real name), I'm going out for chili with the guys for lunch. Yummmm.
