Now's the time for the fanfic postings. To my f-list, they have to be separate since the stories are for different writing communities. Ignore if you're not into any of the fandoms. Please. :) If you're into the fandoms, well . . . read! That's why they're here! LOL!
This is for

Title: Life's Everyday Tragedies
Chapter One
Fandom: Gravitation
Pairing: Tohma/Shuichi
Prompt #96 (writer's discretion): Music
Warnings: AU. more forthcoming as the story progresses
Summary: He knew talent when he saw it, even if it wasn't what the person claimed.
It had started with a letter, a very simple letter. A fan had written in, stating how much he loved Nittle Grasper’s music and how he wanted to be in a band badly, that he and his best friend were trying to form one. The fan had then gone on to ask for advice on how to play the keyboards. It was the usual sort of letter, one Tohma would have read and simply discarded, but it wasn’t the usual sort of letter. The praise was there, the dream of a band was there, but the letter lacked the request for an autograph or for an audition. The fan merely asked for advice and nothing more. Tohma found it to be odd yet refreshing.
Perhaps that was why he had looked up one Shindou Shuichi and found the eighteen-year-old at some dive of a club, performing his heart out for the less-than-enthusiastic audience. There was much to be desired from the boy but he was trying. Tohma gave him that much. If anything, though, the youth was cute and that could always be marketed someway, somehow. All he had to do was write a letter.
