1,2,3,4.... Na Na Na Na Na Na Na!!
another absolutely excellent night. got the bus into the dodgy area known as the barras to head to the kaiser chiefs gig. meeting up with jason is always a highlight, hadnt seen him in agggeees. i know, all of 24 hours god. ended up we wernt actually on the guestlist, but luckily jason had two spare tickets from the dancing queen (king) ali.
the first support band i dont even want to mention. they were awful and the bad thing was they thought they were good. im certain they spotted me and jason just laughing at them. the fucking wasters. covering the white stripes, badly! i pitied their guitarist, hopefully hel realise to get out that little group of losers. anyways... during this time jason got chatting away to a few people around him. they seemed friedly folk, but one in particular caught my eye...
during the second support band, who rightfully should have been headlining, another memorable moment took place. jason had been raving about them for a while, and i definetly will be listening to them for a while. gary uttered that the kaisers were on next, but i liked them so much i had to shout out "we want the cribs". it was class, he heard me and gave me a bottle of beer. what a guy! by the time they went off i was now chatting away to people jason was previously, they were all really cool, apart from that little one at the front, the "oh i love the kaiser chiefs, ive saw them twice" cunt. she was annoying
well as for the kaiser they were pretty good indeed. as much as i loved i predict a riot and oh my god, the best had to be na na na. its a great tune to start with on anyday. we were even singing it before they played it. during the kaisers, a rather nice and somewhat special moment took place. as previously mentioned, that particular girl, jessica, and i really hit it off. i didnt expect it at all... its was really cool. got her number and email address and havent stopped chatting since. i think we are meeting up on saturday, which will be immensely cool.
its likely my next post will be after another excellent night, a theme to my recent posts. but what can i say things have just got really good. i must thank jason obviously, cheers kiddo for the days gone by, theyve been great.
coming up is bloc party(!!!!) on friday and out with jessica on saturday (!!!!!)
