For those of you that don't know, The Phantom Tollbooth ranks as one of my favorite books. Often it is the favorite book for me.

visible cities is a cross-over fic, although calling it a cross-over isn't quite accurate given how genuine the fic is to the canon. Knowledge of canon probably necessary, in which case, I highly recommend reading The Phantom Tollbooth (ebook here). It's for kids, but if you need to be a kid to enjoy it, then that book is especially for you.

ETA: and some more:
vivat regina - greek mythology, persephone pov. a beautiful, powerful take on one of my favorite deities and her myths.
le rouge et le blanc et le noir - fairy tale, not saying which fairy tale, and do not look at the tags. it won't ruin the story per se, but it's better just running in blind!
the dancers - fairy tale, detective noir. i adore detective noir, but even if not, an excellent take on a fairy tale, effortlessly blended into noir.
perhaps. perhaps. perhaps. - romeo and juliet (shakespeare). what if scenarios for juliet. especially pleasant bc shakespeare's romeo is an idiot.
