acceptance letter
Got into AU! Might apply for a fellowship there, although in that case I had better finish my term papers soon, because the deadline for that fellows program is coming up fast.
I'm wondering what I want to do with my summer now. Should I take a break? Get a new internship? Stick with last year's internship?
Money-wise, I probably can't beat the pay on last year's internship, since not only does it pay well, it pays. Most don't, soooo yeah. That being said, while the work was supremely easy, leave hours were generous, and I had a lovely little office and a snazzy computer, that job was really fucking boring.
There's a lot to be said for just taking summer off too. Sleep. Write. Breathe. Maybe go back to China to visit the fam. It's been a while. I can afford to just travel and be a waste of space all summer, but that doesn't necessarily mean I should?
