Last Week in Words

Got back from Petpet's house again, where I went for some well-needed and much enjoyed Rest and Relaxation. I left last thursday and stayed until yesterfriday, which was nice cuz that was two weeks worth of Supernaturals we watched together, with a whole buncha fun in between. Her new computer is amazing, by the way, with a screen so huge that mine feels like piddly small. LOL

We watched a shit-load of movies again, starting off with movies involving Ryan Reynolds. Smokin' Aces (his new one) was a great movie, not only cuz he's hot and it's entertaining, but it was fun because freakin Pennsylvania in the snow is crazy! We had to drive to Altoona from Clearfield which involves a mountain… and the state couldn’t have just built their roads up and down the side of the mountain, they had to make them curvy… which I’m sure is probably for the best, but scary at the same time. We made it fine both ways, but going down was a lot easier cuz I only had to worry about the people in front and behind me, and not people in the other lane because there weren’t any. Going back up I had to worry about everyone and the curves and everything, and I was freaking a little. Pet tried to calm me down with her talk of accidents and wrecks and dying, ;) so I banned the use of all those words, to the point where "accident" became something like "unfortunate meeting of car and ground". I can’t really remember the exact wording but it was something like that that kept us laughing for a good long while.

We watched Van Wilder, Amnityville Horror (2005), Blade Trinity, Waiting…, and Just Friends with Ryan in them all, then a bunch more and I’m probably gonna forget a few… The Little Mermaid, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, From Hell, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Monty Python’s The Life of Brian, Snatch, Tomb Raider, Original Sin, G.I. Jane, Batman Begins, Batman, Batman Returns, Meet Joe Black, Little Inside (where Jared is like 17 and SEXASS) and I’m sure I’m forgetting some, but I loved them all. We also watched one of Dane Cook’s stand up routines that was shown on HBO and he is hilarious. I’d never actually seen him perform stand up before, I’ve heard him a couple times and I’d seen him in movies, but seeing him do standup was great. He is an amazing man and I am proud to say that I would not hesitate for an instant to say that I would have his babies if he wanted me to.

And just a quick note on Meet Joe Black, this has got to be one of the most beautiful movies I have ever seen. It made me sob so hard, but it was a good sobbing, and my god it was stunning visually. Not only was the acting superb, (Anthony I would have your babies too, and Brad, you know I’ll always fucking want yours) but the house was beautiful and the fireworks... it was just all around stunning. I will always have that last shot of the fireworks in my mind, even though it was pretty blurry while I was watching it from the tears in my eyes!

And not only did we watch movies, but I got to sit and watch Pet’s entire weekly TV show line-up with her, which was cool! I saw House, Lost, Heroes, and Veronica Mars for the first time, and fell head over heels in love with House, am pretty interested in Veronica Mars, and could get very interested in Heroes. Lost I’m a little unsure of because it was really intense and kinda intimidating, but I’m sure, just like Heroes, if I saw it from the beginning I’d probably end up liking it. Bones was amazing like always, Booth is adorable as ever and Brennan is too cool for words. We ended up watching a bunch of the first season of House because Hugh Laurie=Genius, and then there was Supernatural.

OH MY FUCKING GOD JARED I WANT TO FUCK YOU SO HARD.

*cough* Uh. Jared was hot. And a-fucking-mazing. It’s been said many times by people other than me, but that episode right there? That truly was for all the messed up people out there who insist Jared can’t act. He always could, and if THAT doesn’t prove that he CAN, then you’re seriously messed up in the head. I’m sorry.

To go from sing-song mocking, to a quick statement of fact, to STRAIGHT into wibble/emo/drama time to mess with Dean’s head… damn. It gets me every time.

And I can’t mention Supernatural without saying that Jensen’s getting soooo good at breaking down/holding up Dean’s walls. It was like that cellphone scene in Home. He’s so good. And take that Emo!Sammy! Dean will ALWAYS SAVE YOU! So don’t you worry cuz your brother’s got you. He’s good. You’re protected. He loves you as much as you love him.

That was pretty much my week, plus going out to dinner a few times with either lots of old people (Ponderosa) or crazy locals (Hunan Buffet), lots of giggles, a lot of laughter, a bunch of catnappings on my part, a few tears, some self-realizations, and a whole bunch of happiness.

And now I’m home. In my dirty bedroom with cats that don’t want to be around me and smell like someone else. But there’s happiness in this, too. What would that be? The fact that in 11, no, 10 days I get to leave again and take Pet to meet two of her best friends that I’m friends with too, plus spend a weekend with JARED PADALECKI!!

Hellz yeah.

roadtrips, crazyjoyfulgirl, life
