Yesterday I turned 25 years young and I had a really nice day. I did my internship in the morning and people wished me happy birthday. I left early around 3 after my filing and such was done. I hung around the house with mom who had the day off. She laid down for a nap and I watched TV for a while. Dad came home with a very large balloon for me and cotton candy. He relaxed some and it was a bit past 7pm when we headed out for my birthday dinner at Red Lobster. It was a given what I would eat, I LOVE crab legs so I had a 1.5 lbs with a small baked potatoe. They were very behind and we waited near an hour for our food. I hadn't eaten but a few chips since 9:30am so I was famished. When the crab came we asked the guy for a candle because I knew I would be to full for desert and this way we can put it into a claw and sing. Well it took him about 10 mins to get it so the crab was cold (I honestly think it was pretty cool when I got it) but that was alright. Crab legs can be eaten either way and while warm is my preference putting the meat in warm butter works just as well. I actually found the colder crab meat comes out easier when you crack the joints it just pulls out a lot of the time so I hardly had to do all that splitting of the shells which takes forever. Normally a pound would take me over an hour but I downed 1.5lbs in 40 mins potatoe too!
I am working on getting the picture up soon.
