I was looking at my previous posts and it has been a while since I really updated anything besides a Target story here or there. I don't lead a thrilling life and unlike when I was at EIU not much happens but here are a few random points I can think of ( Read more... )

What, our family isn't dysfunctional enough for you to do a real family tree?

We are dysfuctinal in our own fun little way, but unfortunatly not what I need for this class. It is an addictions course and atleast on the Kampner side that doesn't seem to be a major issue that I am aware of. I don't have to go into detail about each family just like if I were to do your family chart Grandparents K and Grandparent N. Then each of their kids and then connect your parents and do all of your siblings and yourself. I don't have to get into who married whom and what Kampner cousins (of ours) they spawned. I'll admit it would be fun to gather information on one specific topic and do a huge Genogram one day though.

Too bad that Joey guy is a total meathead jackass on the show.

Actually if you really watch there are times where he is really sensitive and a peacemaker. It is when he drinks he comes off as a total ass. I'm not sure if you follow the show but the next 2 weeks bring interesting things for him. He's really a sweet guy just has been through a lot in life so it gets the better of him though. Nice fella though.

Eh...

If you say so. I don't personally think drinking is an excuse for ANYTHING.

On the other hand they do purposely edit those shows to be as drama-filled as possible.

Drinking should never be used as an excuse for poor behavior but the fact is it does influence the way one behaves. Joey has admitted to having problems with alcohol and as you may have seen at the end of the last episode he makes efforts to refrain from drinking. In case you miss the next few episodes he ends up leaving the show to enter rehab. From what I've heard he is sober and doing well. I'm proud of the guy.
