update on life.... sorta
I was looking at my previous posts and it has been a while since I really updated anything besides a Target story here or there. I don't lead a thrilling life and unlike when I was at EIU not much happens but here are a few random points I can think of...
*Yesterday I picked up Iggy from the body shop.. they had him over a week because of the damn insurance guy was hard to reach to tell him of additional work that had to be done. Glad to have him back and lookin fine though!
*I got my 33 cent raise from my 1 year at Target
* Mom and dad went to the Alexanders conference in DeKalb and learned a lot. Things aren't as bad as we thought..
* A guy I went to HS with named Joe Kovar is on the Real World (he goes by Joey now) so thats awesome.
* Sping is here at last!
*Gas is $3.75. I always wish I had recorded the ups and downs of gas but never have. I remember when I first went down to EIU it was like $1.75 down there and just over $2 up here. I wished I had a car down there. I hear it is going to $4 this week...I hope not.
* There was an earthquake in central IL which was felt up here (and futher north)unfortunatly it hit at 4:30am so most people slept right through it. I personally would have liked to experience it.
* I am giving some thought to my final project for my Family Counseling class. On my next day out I think I am going to dive into it. I am making a Genogram (family tree) of a fictional dysfuctional family. I already bought the poster board and am going to make it really nice and colorful. I just have to figure out a way to make it more dysfuctional than I already have it. Not juicy enough
I know it's not much and far from interesting but that seems to be all I have for now. Hopefully this week will bring excitment.
