C for Terminator
no, i have not suffered any brain damage that led me to think above. i'm just noting that many of the terminators with names that appear in TSCC have C-names. the most obvious one is our dearest Cameron, then the resident bad robot Cromartie, villain for one episode Carter and then liquid coolness Catherine Weaver. let's just go through very briefly each character.
on the side of bad, we have;
Carter
his task was to store Coltan for post Judgment Day. he meets his end(sort of) when he is trapped in the fallout shelter. and we are never shown who the real Carter was. has killed at least 3 people.
Cromartie
ah, Cromartie. first, the many faces of Cromartie.
his task was to terminate John Connor and he pursued the Connor's for months, even through time. he is finally taken out when he walks straight into a trap set by the Connor's with the help of Ellison. his chip was obliterated but his body was salvaged to later become the physical vessel of John Henry. no information on the actual Cromartie is ever revealed. has killed at least more than 20 people.
on the side of the good, we have:
Catherine Weaver
it is only revealed that she's on the good side on the last episode of season two, but i kinda knew. anyway...
her task was to build a computer system that could defeat Skynet. she was last seen to travel forward in time with John and then she disappeared. she is the only liquid terminator to appear in TSCC, and i'm making the assumption that she is the same one on the Jimmy Carter. and below is the real Catherine Weaver. the T-1001 took over when Catherine and her husband got into an accident in which her husband died. has killed uncountable number of people. a whole warehouse of them.
Cameron
Cameron, my favourite terminator by far. the most advanced model by far, able to accurately mimic human behaviour, though half the series this doesn't really show.
her task was to protect John Connor and Sarah Connor(as long as this does not put John in danger). she's been there from day 1, kicked a lot of terminator butt, got blew up, went temporarily bad, but came back weirder than before. last scene shows her chip missing, presumably in John Henry's body and have traveled to the future. she is modeled after human Allison Young, but for reasons unknown, has a name of her own, Cameron. and below is Allison, who Cameron pre-reprogramming, killed. besides Allison, Cameron has killed at least another 5 people.
now, for other terminators whose name doesn't start with C.
we have Vick here, who Cameron terminated. task was to oversee Barbara Chamberlain's traffic project. the real Vick died in a car accident. killed at least 5 people.
Myron Stark, a T-888 stuck in the 1920's. also terminated by Cameron. no known kills.
unidentified male only known as Water Delivery Man. task was to kill Catherine Weaver. Weaver cooked him with high voltage. killed at least 2 people, including Derek.
