OK SO I KNOW... it's been a while!
Brief summary of last weekend b/c it was AMAZING! So... since my close friend Lindsay has aquired a boyfriend, I get some of the perks too... like her boyfriend's best friend getting us free EVERYTHING to the SEC Championship game last weekend (Arkansas/Florida).
So we left Fri. afternoon & headed to the ATL! FREAKIN CLASS A HOTEL!! We stayed @ the Omni Hotel, attached the CNN Center! We got there, checked in then got our (are you ready for this?) pass to the welcome dinner @ the GA Aquarium (free), pass to the pregame party for Sat. (free), $155 ticket to the game (free), SEC/Dr. Pepper fleece jacket (free) and SEC/Dr. Pepper cap (free).
Our hotel room was on the 24th floor!!!! We didn't even have to share a bed!! We could see everything in ATL just a/b. I saw over near the airport, the gold dome of the capital building, we were right above from Centennial Park... I mean, amazing hotel room! If I had to guess how much the room was per night, I'd say upwards of $150, $200??? NIIICE!
So the aquarium was freakin class A! I saw a whale shark, got to walk under the water with the sharks, huge ugly fish, sting rays... and that was just one area. It was a pretty huge aquarium. We got to get up right next to the penguins! I saw this thing called a spider crab, this thing called a dragon fish (I think that's what it was called-- it looked like the seaweed around it)... I mean everything was just sooo neat. We got free dinner/dessert (which wasn't fabo but ok)... free alcohol!! It was awesome!
Next day's pregame party was amazing! Again, free food. Both school's bands came in and they played music and it was basically like one big tail gate thing. They had TVs playing other games (like the Wake/GA Tech game where Wake beat GT by 3 points, all points were scored by field goals, final score 9-6!!!) I mean, it wasn't anything overly spectacular but it was pretty frickin cool!!! The game was cool in the experience (and this AMAZING looking man sat close to us and I just awed over him! He was probably the 2nd hottest MANLY man I've ever seen!) Arkansas lost (meaning FL is going to the BCS Championship... %#*^#@&*#&%*#^@#$^#*&^@$*#&^*@#&$^). I was pretty pissed a/b that. But I saw my old friend Reid. It was just a pretty amazing weekend. I got postcards and Lindsay has pictures!
Anyway... that was last weekend. School is finally to finals. I leave for Califonia in 6 days & 8 1/2 hours! (But who's counting?!?)
Samuel is in Germany & doin fine... working, stayin drunk I'm sure.
I joined Gold Side so college night starts when school starts, although I'm not sure what I'll be doin since I didn't get to go to cheerleader tryouts :(
Um... otherwise not much is different. But I think I'm goin to bed now b/c I need to get up in the AM and start studying :(
