Brief discussion of gay scene where you are from: It sucks, but at least we have one. There's The Lookout, which is mostly 40+ and has lesbian Fridays, The Edge which is a sketchy club aimed towards the early thirty-something and younger, and some sort of gay bars. Swizzles which is actually for everyone but aims to be inclusive and has karaoke and Zaphods which is also open and has a lot of funky music. We also have a small section of Bank St. which is supposedly "the village". Meaning, a couple of gay sex shops and a sketchy gay book store and more cafes with rainbow stickers than elsewhere. Funnily enough, you see more gay couples holding hands on Elgin.
Your list of top 5 hottest celebrities: Kate Walsh, Bruce Willis, and I'll get back to you... I'm sleepy and chemistry and personality count for so much more than you can see on tv.
Your favourite famous Canadian: There are too many to choose from. Tanya Huff is probably top of my list, though. She's an author and a lesbian. She's a solid writer and she cracks me up. William Shatner is awesome, especially in Boston Legal. Most of the Stargate Atlantis cast. Katia Grubisic who is a poet and not really that famous, but she's published so I think she counts. And a bunch more, if I stopped to think about it.
