Man, all the dudes at my work either check me out or shamelessly hit on me. I'm not saying this to be cocky, I mean it's wicked flattering, but it's so weird. Like they are on hyperdrive of trying to find a mate, do you know what I mean? Like the age they are maybe. I think it's because I'm not heinously fugly--I'm like fresh meat because all of the nurses are already married or engaged (because there are some definite foxes). I think they are all doctors (interns or residents), and they look between 23 and 35. Only one dude looks 35. Total creep, shamelessly shamelessly hitting on me, and when he asked me what year I was in school and I told him that I was gonna be a junior he did that eyebrow-raising with coordinating exhale of 'oh wow you're young.' I smiled in response as in, 'yes, yes I am.' Most don't talk to me, just give me eyes. This one resident, who's actually pretty attractive, is a new intern named Garv. He just came right up to me and introduced himself and like, kept coming into the room to 'check on' the patient I was sitting for while the patient's sitter was on break. It was really cute. I'd consider it if, well... I do like the attention, though :)
