Bartender Bash Breakdown :)
Such a fun event! It was at the gorgeous Union Station hotel, and it was packed. I felt rather underdressed but still fit in as a food nerd. :) Here's the menu of all the drinks:

however, the girl that won the people's choice award, from Cantina Laredo, actually made 2 drinks that were different from what is listed. One was a watermelon martini with fresh watermelon puree, and one was a cocktail with homemade lavender infused syrup. Both were so refreshing, and much less sticky sweet as compared to the other competitors. Also loved the gingery drink from Rumba. Tavern was another favorite. Our consensus on least favorite was definitely the one with creme de menthe, which was a little disapppointing since we love 1808 grill. Kinda gross actually. The food was great, cheese spread, crackers, fruit, roasted veggies, and some fun miniature desserts (cakeballs!!) We also got 2 drink tickets on top of the samples, one was a raspberry vodka thing and one was a tea and mint thing, sorta like a julep but with vodka.
Here's to hoping they add the laveder drink to the menu at Cantina Laredo, and, otherwise, sticking to my favorite, wine. :)
