Poetry -- On this Beltain Morn

This is the song I wrote and presented to Queen Eilis at Beltain Coronation

On this Beltain Morn -- Wander Riordan, 3 May 2008

Honor Eilis, queen upraised
Lady wise and justly praised
All the West now stand amazed
On this Beltain Morn
Sovereignity reborn!

Mother she to kings hath been
Counsellor both strong and keen
On her breast the laurel green
On this Beltain morn
Raise we high the horn!

Pelican both fair and sage
Loved by Duke and Bard and page
O wonderous indeed this age!
On this Beltain Morn
New the world is born!

Sure her hands have built and made
Served the land as honor bade
Hers a grace that ne'er will fade
On this Beltain Morn
Bright her brow adorn!

By the Sword, by Word and Hand
Titus, King made of this Land
And Eilis as our Queen doth stand
On this Beltain Morn
To the West is sworn
New the world is born!
