And there was Great Rejoicing

A little background -- Several years ago (just under 5) I moved from Oakland to Dublin (greater SF Bay Area), out of an apartment I'd been in for 11 years. Many friends helped me pack and shift (gloriana will remember!). One of the Last Things (deliberately left to be part of the Last Load) that was packed was my house-ward, a stained-glass 'matrix' that was made by Kelson, that I got at Mythcon in 1982 (an event significant in my life for many reasons). I did not pack it, one of the people helping me did.

Which meant I had no idea where it was. I had, after Not Finding It for several years, decided, sadly, that it had gotten eaten by the black hole of Moving, and it was Gone.

I have moved twice since then.

Tonight, as I was going through a box with costume-bits, in preparation for Costume Con next weekend, I FOUND IT!!!!!!!!! Now, this box had been opened. I had looked in it several times before, so I was totally not expecting to find anything new in this box, so my joy is all the greater.

This is the piece:

And, while I was downloading that to post, I grabbed :

And last, but not least, the obligatory picture of
