A longish thinky-post on religion and The Last Sin Eater and personal beliefs that will be filtered -- anyone reading here who wants to be on my religion filter & thinks they might not be already, give me a shout-out & I'll add you.
I've signed up for an interesting challenge/ficathon based on operas at tragedyoptional. Highlander of course -- the opera I've chosen is Mlada, and Kalas will have to be a villain in it. Here is the welcome and signup post.
Tonight I'll be doing a class on SCA 'homesteading'* I have a flyer and will be doing show and tell :-). I'll probably post a version of the handout here at some point.
*Homesteading is a category in the Atenveldt Arts & Sciences competition that involves things like tents, furniture, feast-gear, utensils and so forth. It also includes animal husbandry and gardening.

By way of kateorman: here is an interview with Chris Chibnall, the head writer on Torchwood. There are Spoilers in the interview, so be warned. Among other things, in his answer to the question about fan response (9th down) he not so tacitly gives fan-stories a green light.
Oh, and macgeorge1? He talks about the Face of Boe thing....
