Asus EEE Pad Transformer Beats iPad 2 To Become Amazon's Best Selling Tablets

Amazon currently lists it as its best selling tablet, just over one week after having put it on sale. The fact that the Amazon still doesn't sell the iPad 2 officially (although many of its Marketplace partners have done so) did help.
What's more, the bundle that includes the tablet and the docking station is the one which is the more popular which shows that there is a market for tablets with optional keyboard accessories.
The first generation Apple iPad are still selling very well even with a hefty price premium slapped on them. but none of the iPad 2 sold by Amazon partners feature on the list.
Like most of the recent tablets announced, the EEE Pad Transformer is built on a platform made up of a 10-inch 1280x800 pixel screen, an Nvidia Tegra 2 chipset and Google Android Honeycomb operating system.
The rest is pretty standard; Wi-Fi with optional 3G, HDMI port, USB port, microSD card slot, dual multi-megapixel front and rear facing cameras and a good battery life.
The docking station brings a SD card reader (ed : can we actually use the onboard microSD card slot AND the SD card reader simultaneously), two USB ports and a secondary battery that doubles the battery life.
