(no subject)
So, I have uvulitis.
I've had a cold all week with a quite sore throat, but thought the throat was just post-nasal drip and would go away once the cold cleared up.
This morning I woke up choking on my uvula. It took me a few minutes of trying to cough it up before I realised that it was attached to me.
It's a distinctly unpleasant feeling.
Doctor gave me antibiotics and a sick cert for work, but I'm hoping I'll be able to go into the office for Monday because next week is a busy week.
Smudge had to have a dental cleaning last week, and after the vet scraped away the tartar, three teeth had exposed nerves. She had to have them extracted. She's doing well, and is actually a lot more energetic and bright eyed than she was before the extraction.
The only problem is the painkiller the vet gave us is giving Smudge diarrhea. We've had to lock her in one of the bathrooms to limit the mess and the vet is supposed to get back to me today on what our options are.
I got business cards at work that say "Assistant Producer" which makes me happy... even though I don't really have anyone to give business cards to....
I'm going to take a nap, the painkiller the doctor gave me is making me quite sleepy.
