I still have like a bazillion, trillion things to do with this whole Graduate School Application and I am procrastinating SOOOO bad right now!!
Is this a look into the future of what's to come if I go back to school and actually have that stuff called Homework again??? poo...
Heading to Baton Rouge in the a.m. Looking forward to lunch with Jess and Travis. NOT looking forward to the drive or the "flashbacks".
I think if I'd gone there regularly over the last 5 months, this wouldn't be so hard. But, since it's been such a long time, it is going to just feel so wierd to make that drive, see LSU, see that townhouse, pass by garths' old apartment, pass by the stadium, all the things I can't exactly avoid on this trip over there.
One of these days, especially during football season, I will get used to this. I'm still hoping to get tickets, someway---somehow. Jess and Travis are getting the spouse tickets and we'd said we'd try to go to all the 'fun' games together --- ie SEC games, which is fine with me. I'd rather go to all of them, but the SEC games are the best ones anyways.
OH and I already have plans to go to Kasiosko(?), MS for the MS State game. KK from the office invited me, Ann, Laura and Frank and whoever else wants to come, since they have a house in that town, and it's not far from MS.State. If that works out, I think it will be hella fun, especially b/c allll of us are LSU grads except for KK and her Bubba, who both went to Ms. State and are die hard fans! Even her son is at LSU, and if he brings any of his KA brothers along, that could get interesting! Should be fun!!!
I'm so jealous because Mama and Emily are in Houston for the Dance Convention deal this weekend and they called to say they were at the competition performance, heading to the Galleria, etc. I WISH I WERE THERE! I miss hanging out in Houston a lot! and I miss summer dance conventions...especially when hot-guy, Derrik, is an instructor!! wooooooo....hot, hot guy.
Well, onto the fun, exciting world of grad applications and such. This weekend was definitely NOT long enough. tomorrow will fly by, and then it's already another week of work. I have lots of TV appearances this week, so it's going to be exhausting!!
OH and if anyone is listening to 94.5 KSMB tomorrow morning, say around 10 am., I'll be on there for an interview! we taped it last week...the guy was CUTE! and the interview went great...it was fun.
Sometimes I wish i were a celebrity because it's so much fun doing these things..haaha.
