No Man's Land Beef Jerky - Hot

Description: These are thin strips of meat, about four inches by and inch, maybe a few centimeters thick. They have flakes of red pepper throughout, but generally these are pretty dry and brittle, easy to rip and not greasy.

Scores:
Tenderness: 4 out of 5. A little dry and a little tough, but that's how beef jerky should be.
Flavor: 3 out of 5. Good and beefy taste, but if that's their idea of hot they're operating on some false assumptions. Inara eats this and doesn't even comment on the "heat" it supposedly has.
Overall: 3 out of 5. After the alligator debacle, I was ready to rate this much higher, but as I continued on the bag and picked a few fatty strings out of my teeth, my score dropped a bit. It's still very good beef jerky, though, maybe more of a 3.5.
