I Don't know all the details about the situation, but I do remember a little while back when you wanted to get her on the Oprah Show, and I remember when she bought you the dress you wanted...I know it may not help when in the heat of the moment, but just try to focus on the good things. I also realize that this is not only hard, but in many cases impossible.
God created us with limits, with emotions and fears. Many times these emotions can seem like hatred, but in reality that influence is the Devil, i am reminded of a poem *just a sec while i run and get it*. This is long but its great.
"Footprints": One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beath with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints in the samd, one belonging to him and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there wsa only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest time of his life.
This really bothered him, and he questioned the Lord about it. "Lord, you siad that once i decided to follow you,m you would walk with me all the way; but i have noticed that during the most troubled times of my life there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why you would leave me during the times when i needed you most."
THe Lord replied, "My precious child, I love you and would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that i carried you."
I just thought this would help, and wanted to remind you that in a time like this, the Lord is carrying you. Don't just pray about it, surrender it to him. He died on the cross so that we could sacrifice all of our burdens on to him, so that he could carry all our problems. Also, God does everything for a reason, although you may not see it right now, he has a purpose. Maybe in the end this will bring you closer to your mom, or maybe you can use it later to help someone else. Just remember that God loves you, and that you are his precious child.
