Fun Times at Work!
Heehee! I had a great day at work today! There were a few things to laugh at that I thought I'd share. :3
So yeah, I was in the office on the phone and the back door is propped open. All of a sudden, I can hear my car alarm start to go off. So, I'm thinking to myself ::Oh no, not this again.:: Then Ajero Toni sempai's like "Oh no, bro!" Then <3 Ajero Niku sempai <3 is like
"Dude, who's car is that?" and I raise my hand demurely. Then he's like "Does that happen often? Somebody might be breaking into your car!" Then Toni chan looks out the door and he's like
"Dude, somebody's stealing your car!"
Niku san's like "You better go check it out!"
I'm just sitting there, like ::yeah, whatever.:: =/ Plus, I was still on the phone. I put my phone on hold for just enough time to say "It does that every two seconds."
Then Toni chan says "Does it do that when you're driving? 'Cause that would be weird."
Then, Niku san looks over at him, very matter-of-factly, and says "You're an idiot, Tony."
I was like ::Aww! Poor Toni chan!:: But at the same time, it was pretty hilarious. ^_^ Niku san's kinda mean to him sometimes, but I think it's out of brotherly love. It's sweet... and kinda funny! :3 Sometimes Niku san is like >_<* and Toni chan is like ^_^; . Together, they're XD !
Ok. Something else funny happened today too. I was in the front, greeting the people who came in for interviews and I was using Wiberu sempai's laptop to enter data into the system. I hadn't really used that kind of laptop very much before, (it's got fancy buttons on the touch pad!) and I'm used to my mac. :3 While I was trying to make it scroll, I kept accidentally minimizing the browser screen. Wiberu sempai has this hot blonde chick in white lingerie, leaning against a tree, as a wallpaper on his laptop, and after about the third or fourth time accidentally minimizing the browser window, I noticed something about her.
Later on, after I had returned to the back office and was back at the office computer again, Wiberu sempai came in and sat down with his lunch. And I said "Oi, Maiku san!" (not really in Japanese, but you get the idea) "That girl on your laptop wallpaper? I KNOW HER! She went to my high school!" In fact, she was one of the prettiest girls in my middle school, too.
And he was like "Really? Hook me up!" I let him know that she was a hearty slicer and whatnot. Fun times. Small world. I think she even goes to our school now! (Wiberu sempai goes to the same university as me.) That story wasn't as funny, but it was weird and coincidental. I thought it was pretty cool. ^_^;
