Well, well looks like some of the tv adaptations of sci-fi books are finally ready to pop this season (edit: Dec 2015 to be exact).

Arthur C. Clarke's earth-bound Childhood's End vs. space-based The Expanse (Based on James S. A. Corey series).

The next exhibition at the British Library, starting on May 20th , focuses on sci-fi. The worlds that are created, the issues that are covered/discussed etc.. Thought it might be of interst to those of you coming over for a visit early this summer :-)
