You know when a movie you are expecting to be utterly cheesy and horrible - even if you know it was directed by Julie Taymor who also did Frida and Titus which you love - turns out to be pretty damn good? And it's a fricking Beatles musical of all things!
Across the Universe had some of the most striking cinematography I've seen in a long time. Well, excluding Control which was pretty damn amazing, as well.
