I sorta liked seeing Cara that way, all loving and selfless and such. I kinda did a shoutout to GWTW like when Rhett says to Scarlett "I liked to think that Bonnie was you, a little girl again, before the war, and poverty had done things to you. She was so like you, and I could pet her and spoil her, as I wanted to spoil you" Like maybe that's partially why Dahlia likes Kahlan...!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes! That horrible life scarred Cara a lot! Maybe BECAUSE she was so selfless and loving she just took everything what live gave her too hard and totally closed herself even from Dahlia to preserve that little what she was left with. And yes, Kahlan with her love and her broken defiant spirit reminded Dahlia about young broken Cara who still had the remnants of a terrific caring
