"it's not a lie, it's seing things another way"
So, I saw Wicked on (crappy) google video last night and well, I enjoyed it! :D
I'm seriously thinking of flying to London to see it live the day I'll have time and money for that (time mostly, because now that I have discovered online check-in works, I fear nothing!! come to me supreme power of low cost flights!!! *_*), because even from the video you can tell that that's a show that is better watched live. Or either, wait they make a movie out of it - it would be quite easy actually.
The view has also refreshed my curiosity about the whole Oz world, might try to read something about the original books - and yes, I know already Wicked and the original Wizard of Oz and related stuff are a mess, in terms of continuity but whatever.... Oz it's one of those things that are always around in the suburbia of your cultural background but you most likely have only a very superficial knowledge of - and the outcome of trying to go to the source rather than to following reinterpretations of it might be surprising (I have read some pieces of Alice in Wonderland and drop it because I dind't find it all that interesting.. ^^;)
