I've been on holidays to Portugal, and during my visit to the Algarve region I stopped at the International Sand Sculpture Festival in Pêra. It takes place every year between May and October. This year the topic is Discoveries. For more information, check out the
official Website, viewable in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
I arrived there early in the morning, so it was practically empty and I could take photos at ease.
It was very difficult for me to make a selection of all the pictures I took, but here it is.
[WARNING!]
1. There is a total of 66 photos. Click at your own downloading risk and leisure!
2. I have written the title of the sculpture when known. When in doubt there is a (?).
3. They were organized in a sort of time -line. I took the route from the future backwards.
4. Some pictures are there just for size perspective.
5. I hope you like the awesome sculptures as much as I did!
