なつかしいいいい!!!

You're cruel! My FF8 CD's lie halfway round the world right now DDDDD:
Anonther thing on my "What to do in my christmas holidays" list then, I guess.

Yay for the Irvine - Youji reference and Moping!Squall XDDDDDDD~

Weiß' bad animation is... epic. I remember the disco scene of Omi and his sister WHICH WAS COMPLETELY MADE OF STILLS and lasted like an eternity. Or the various deformed faces. Although, I have to admit, Aya's face is so completely perfect bishonen it's really hard to draw (since the face itself has no redeeming features). You see I've tried and failed XD;

I had the same problem for three years. I bought a PSONE and the Japanese edition of the game to tide me over, but it was not the same. NOT AT ALL.

Moping!Squall was the BEST.

I remember that scene too. And the hair that moved around their heads like a fake wig. I also guess Aya was not precisely... cooperative to be drawn.

¿Lo has jugado alguna vez?

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww you're making me want to play this game again :D I got frustrated with the battle style so I didn't play very far, but Squall is sooooo cuuuute!! Your screencaps are so awesome.

Why? The junction system or the fact that you can't change the players mid-battle? You prefer ff9, right? I know all the story of ff9, but aside from ff8 I have only played 10 and it disappointed me greatly. Well, rather, it bored me. ^^''But I loved Auron!

Squall is adorable and so are the rest. I love the cast, the music, the landscape, the story and sometimes even the sucky, cheap villain dialogues. :D

What really got to me was the parallel-levelling of enemies. That's one of my pet peeves. Yeah and junction.... and... yeah you can't like, DO stuff in battle!! And isn't the limit break really random? but now that I keep going back to the primitive FF9, it seems like it would not be as bad to play FF8 now. Squall might be my favorite FF main character evar.

But FF9 pwnz my heart :D

Since it was the first RPG I ever played on a console, I got used to it and now I find annoying to learn any other system. FFX was SO SO SO BOTHERSOME to me. I think that is why I stopped mid-way. Well, that, and the fact that the story was lineal and tedious and in a hateful world.

I love Squall. I think you should give it another chance, indeed!! There are plot twists that are WTFkish, but I find it so enjoyable from beginning to end (OK, perhaps a bit more WTFkish in CD 3 when Squall goes "Oooh, Rinoa, Rinoaaa!"). Every time I finish CD 1 I want to start all over again. It's... an addiction.

FF9 had really nice videos and music and the characters looked really nice.
