Yuushi Oshitari selling his own doujinshi at a con
by Balgus Revival
Can anybody explain me where the idea of
Oshitari as an otaku comes from?
This is the second doujinshi I buy in which somehow, somewhere, somewhen he is portrayed as a former Otaku. And not only that, but as a doujinka of hentai selling his doujinshi at a convention, and usually failing miserably, like here (in another scene, a girl comes to ask him where she can find doujinshis of Full Milk Alchemist or something). The other doujinshi is a OshiKiku, in which Oshitari asks Kikumaru to let him keep a picture of him from a school festival in which he dressed up as a female student in a sailor uniform. Kikumaru asks for his most embarrassing picture in exchange, too, but Oshitari is way too ashamed of his past as an otaku to give him the con pic he keeps in an album.
Here we see him dressing a "Miraculous Senshi Gamudamo" T-shirt (¿Some joke with "gum" as in condom?), and offering doujinshis for sukebes (one-shot boy?), "Cheerful mushroom kun" (penis), "Embrace me with a headlock" and "Yuushi sama ga miteru...ushiro kara" (Yuushi-sama is watching...from behind).
Another plot line that peeves me a bit is doujinshi about raped-by-former senpais!Shishido. I own a couple of them, by two different circles, and although the art and style is gorgeous and somewhat amazing, it feels a bit like a "Trowa Barton" syndrome. Why does he have to be/have been raped or even gang-banged? So that Ohtori can go berserk and want to kill them? (Oshitari having taken revenge long ago by crippling their legs showing he can go even berserker was further disturbing, even if you didn't actually see it happen, and even get caring Atobe in exchange) Or just to see Ohtori follow him nevertheless and love him even more, and have those utterly fantastic scenes in which Shishido asks him if he wants to break up with him after knowing that, and Ohtori's endearing reaction is enough to melt down and forget about the awful angst that originated everything?
Ah well. We can always compensate with Atobe kara no Okurimono 2: ToriShishi Wedding, in which the dinosaurs got estinguished as a result of the Ohtori Zone (aka orgasm in his wedding night), and Atobe confesses his love for Kabaji using the lights in the buildings, right after Kabaji reminded him that 15-year-old school boys cannot get married, when he was giving out the interview to Inoue.
