Things I tend to forget about Indiana
1. Most all video stores have tanning as part of the business ie (Daves tan and video)
2. amish uber alles
3. deciduous forests are inherently greener and lusher than scrub pine & hammocks
4. Very few imports on the roads
5. Indiana is one of only two U.S. states that does not use daylight savings time.
6. No retail alcohol on sundays ...Doah! Ohio is a 3 hr roundtrip for libation
7. The rural to urban learning curve gap is as wide as it is deep.
8. Without oceans the landlocked are happy to watersport river, lake or reservoir.
9. Summer travel on state roads is constantly impeded by tractor, combine & haywagons
10. The skyline is flat field and rolling forest with intermittent barn & grain silo
