Parenting and full time work is boring. I miss fandom!

I miss binge-watching, yelling at the TV, rewinding/rewinding/rewinding at the good parts, and then coming here and chatting about how amazing an episode or scene was.

I miss making icons, animations, and tweaking with video to make it just rightI wish I had the time to do the fun stuff

You seem to find that hidden time to do fandom stuff. Wish you could teach me.

I knew you'd like my icon. It is so nice to watch a new show and be so completely drawn in by it. I
just wasn't sure in the beginning. Tried a couple other shows which weren't so good, so I went back to watch more Daredevil and I got hooked. Pretty soon you should have seen me hopping up and down, yelling at the TV. That's love, I tell ya. LOL

I'm going to have to find some DD communities to join. It's hard not talking about things I love.

One of the things that kind of broke my heart is how far south the relationship between Foggy and Matt went. It was painful seeing them hurt each other and nothing getting resolved. You know they want to be buddies again. You can see it on their faces...that along with pain. It just tore me up. Surely hoping that they can both come to an understanding. And dammit I want them to be lawyers together again. I really liked those two in action.

I was reading something earlier and someone had said that there will be no Season 3 of Daredevil. They said that there will only be The Defenders after this. Hoping it's not true. I don't see Karen Page in The Defenders.

I try to do little fandom projects but not nearly as much as I'd like. Vidding has been hit the worse & it's probably the most rewarding for me personally, as it's can be a bit of struggle. I actually drew portraits for a convention this year (at short notice) for Agent Carter & Agents of SHIELD then I realized I hadn't done any since 2012!

I was expecting good things from DD but once I started watching I was amazed just how brilliant, both the action & character development was & spot on story. It' not often that we get a show both I & John really love, but we so impressed & desperately held off binge watching just to make it last.

I loved the relationship between the 3 at Nelson, Murdock & Page. But I guess in Matt's desire to help Elektra /avoid involving Foggy & Karen in more danger he kept secrets that started the decline. I had vaguely heard about a joint show with Jessica Jones etc..

Did you watch that all of that one?, as there is already crossover scene with Foggy. I won't say more in case you've not seen it all cos spoilers. I really hope Karen will be involved. We didn't really get to see her reaction to Matt's reveal of the mask. In true whedonesque style they got less 'happy time' together than Wes & Fred.

Do you mean Jessica Jones? I saw the first episode a couple of months ago but haven't seen any others. I didn't find it that appealing. It seemed kind of depressing. I do plan on getting through it though, just haven't done it yet.

Am so happy we'll get more Daredevil! I was hoping Comic Con would give us an update on that. I wonder when they'll be available to stream? It said 'soon' but I'm guessing next Spring. Not sure if they've had the panel yet but I'm hoping for more juicy details.

Like most Marvel things they link everything. I believe Luke Cage features quite a lot in JJ and also Lawyers which links to Murdoch & Nelson. It wasn't a bad show just very graphically violent in places and a downer by a noticeable degree before we start getting something to cheer about.

The Daredevil news is excellent. I think it merits another Season - they'd set so much up at the end of S2. And it's not enough to have DD & gang feature in the Defenders when they can hold their own.
