The end of Torchwood (S2) and the beginning of Doctor Who (S4)

I would have much preferred a few days respite following the Torchwood finale before Doctor Who was on, but it wasn't in the cards. This post isn't long, but to sum it up in one non-spoilery sentence.. Exit Wounds was emotional and fantastic and Doctor Who was enjoyable and shocking.

{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}} back. Kate and I loved it and can't wait to talk more about it. I'm so glad you enjoy Donna now, too. I was so looking forward to her and I absolutely adored her in this. So many wonderful scenes, but to mention one, it just made my heart kinda swell seeing her with her bags all in the car, ready to go. I just loved that scene..and how she and the Doctor got it sorted. I loved the entire thing....it was a long wait (plus a day!)....but soooo worth it.

As for seeing Rose this soon....my oh my....my heart's still flippin'!! I'm seeing her fading away...can't wait to find out what the story is. sighhh.

I knew you'd love it! It was very cute, and a cool way to get Donna back into the Tardis. I also loved seeing her have all of those bags packed in her car, ready to take off! Classic.

As for seeing Rose this soon....my oh my....my heart's still flippin'!! I'm seeing her fading away...can't wait to find out what the story is. sighhh.

You and me and the rest of the D/R centered world. I actually have a little hope now that RTD may actually do it right. Although it's probably only 10% hope. ;)

I think I didn't care much for Donna in the beginning because Rose had jut been taken away and Donna was so incredibly different. But remember, on the second viewing of TRB, I really was enjoying her humor. I loved her humor in Partners in Crime and am looking forward to seeing that continuing through the series.

And I'm jealous of your vidding muses. I miss that feeling you just described. *sigh* Maybe someday soon as the season progresses...

Yeah but my vidding muses have been on vacation lately! I think yours pop up more than mine do. And aren't you working on a video? I send vidding vibes your way if you need them. I'm in such close proximity, you should be receiving them soon! ;)

Mum: What?
Dad: She's coming back. We told you this weeks ago.
Brother's gf: Who's Rose
Me: *fights urge to smother*

oh well i cannot read your entire post, as i've just finished the end of season one (TW that is) and just can't get to the computer to watch any of season two but am worried maybe there's season two spoilers up above and i couldn't bear to know anything about anyone leaving or being hurt or being transformed - when i've just come to know and love these characters so very much.

i am seized with vidding ideas - every other song i listen to seems tailor-made for TW. it's a fever.

with any luck, maybe this weekend will be a torchwood weekend (finally having done with the great BSG re-watch!)
