Wayne La Pierre, Executive Vice President and the long-time major force at the National Rifle Association, gave the presentation to the United Nations yesterday. He spoke before a committee that has made pretty nakedly obvious their desire to remove handguns from the possession of all government subjects, so that only governments have guns.

This past week, Congress heard testimony from agents working for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (edited: BATFE, or ATF for short).
