Round Targets
Ted Eisenberg is apparently a very good handler of edged instruments, including the throwing knife and tomahawk. But he picked this up late in life:"I have always thought it was kind of cool watching James Bond movies, Crocodile Dundee -- anybody who was able to wield a knife and throw it across the room and make it stick.
"I always wanted to be able to do that and then one day my wife asked what I wanted for the holidays. I said a throwing knife. I tried throwing it into a tree but I felt bad. I felt so bad I went and hugged the tree."
He got over this, with help -- and now uses inanimate targets. His knife targets, depicted in the article, could be imagined to look a little bit like breasts.
Knife throwing is only a hobby for the Philadelphia professional. In his day job, he is also quite accomplished:
