I'm not at all concerned with these races destroying themselves like they are doing. If they cannot see that without women, their races will become extinct, tough cookies. Any group that can prevent its own extinction and refuses to do so, deserves it.

Me, I've long said that if you REALLY want to wage war on someone, you either destroy their women, or somehow make it so they cannot reproduce. Tada, that's the last generation of that people and all you have to do is sit back and wait 3 generations for the land to be vacant. And the strange thing is, that these people waged this total anhilation scenario on themselves, totally voluntarily. If someone did it to them, charges of genocide would be flying about. But if they do it to themselves...

It does strike me that when you've got a 60/40 male:female ratio, the problem of treating women as without value will solve itself. Unfortunately, it does nothing to fix the problem of treating them like property. v.v

I'm concerned. Maybe not for the "races," but for the innocent victims within them.

I wonder, how does disallowing divorce stop men from beating their wives (for that matter how would it stop a wife from beating her husband)? Wouldn't the lack of other escape options tend to make the domestic violence more severe out of frustration?

In a number of societies, being beaten by your husband is not as dangerous for a woman as being divorced. v.v

I am really, really glad to live in a society where this mentality is almost impossible to conceive.
