Here I am again.
I know I haven't posted since... January? But I haven't been spending much time on the internet these days. I'm busy. I've been going swimming just about every day after work (I'm at a 1/4 mile a day now). Back's been in a considerable amount of pain. Had X-rays, had MRIs, no causes yet discovered. Swimming doesn't seem to be helping much, but it doesn't hurt and I feel more energetic. Plus I've made friends at the gym with a big tattooed nipple-pierced guy and an old man who offered to take me ballroom dancing.
Well, the kitties are named Wingus and Dingus, because that's how they act. Like dummies.
And now it's time for another poll. Giles and I are going to be getting married (Justice of the Peace thing, no invitees, party to happen months afterward). Giles is switching to part time on June 8, and he'll be losing his benefits. So I'm going to put him on mine (our health coverage will cost $8 more a month than mine does now--great deal). Our wedding bands have arrived at the jeweler's, and we get free engraving on the insides if we want. Since it's free, we feel that we should opt for something. Any ideas? The most appropriate ones we've come up with are ridiculously silly (ie "FACE + EL GORDO"). Do you guys know what people put in these things? Since we don't have a "date" (we're just going to show up when it's convenient), that wouldn't work. Do people put their initials in 'em? I'm stumped.
We have to go to the City Clerk to get our license, but they close at 4 pm every day. When we actually do make it in, Giles is going to ask if they're hiring (with a schedule like that and gov't benefits, hey...)
