I keep coming across praise for homestuck and keep thinking "Okay I will give this a proper shot" and then I don't.

do you get stuck at the beginning? I find it's easy to get stuck at the beginning.

Or is it more stuck at the typing the url in and hitting enter.

Spot on! I wasn't aware there was so much more to it until I stumbled across reviews. Now I am just waiting for school to be over so I have time to read it in large doses. Because if this turns out to be completely amazing, I will just keep reading and not sleep and aghhaghlrnekd;

And by "spot on", I meant to agree with the first part, that I get stuck at the beginning. But hey vague is cool too.

but yeah wow i got stuck the beginning. some girl in class recommended it to me in march or something so i opened it and it was one big MEH cuz I was expecting a game. it stayed meh until the METEORS STARTED TO RAIN DOWN FROM THE SKIES ABOVE

you will read for 4 days straight and you will not get through all of it. this is a warning, take preemptive measures.

that was when i went woah what and read back.
