Something Kind Of Annoying
I started a new school recently, so I have to do the whole getting-to-know-you-thing for the first time in about 8 years. That's fine with me, I enjoy meeting new people. Something I don't enjoy? Ignorant and judgmental people I have to go to school with for the next 4 years. It's a month into school and everyone's already gossiping and pretending to know everyone else. I guess that's what I get for going to an all-girls school.
The thing that's been irking me is whenever I tell people I'm colorblind for whatever reason their first reaction is to say "Girls can't be colorblind." For example:
One day I was wearing ridiculously bright socks to crew practice...
Me: Hahaha I could just say I'm colorblind and didn't know they were that bright.
Nina: Haha yeah but girls can't be colorblind!
Me: i'm colorblind...
Story of my life. Oh well. Other than a few small problems school's okay. I should probably start using this site to actually post stories and such. Good day :)
