Thank you bone_dry1013,who had some very helpful ideas for writing action scenes when I first started this, PeaceHeather, who gave a quick read through the last couple of chapters and especially to the lady that managed to wade through it all ginar369.
It's very long and very angsty. Sixteen chapters if you include the epilogue and prologue. If you're looking for fluff this isn't for you.

Summary: Another Spike gets the Shanshu fic but I hope it's unique enough that it's worth a read. Spike doesn't cope well with the changes and Buffy tries to understand his aversion to this development. Being human brings many other challenges their way. Is their relationship strong enough to last the testing times.
