Es zieht an mir, ich lass es ziehen, denn alles zieht vorbei.
I'm enjoying my now cold coffee. It may sound odd, but I am really liking this cold and wet fall weather. It makes walking on the colorful fall leaves all the more enjoyable. :) I remember loving this kind of weather as a child. I would jump in puddles and throw leaves about, and both those things in one were just amazing.
Friday was a great day at work. I got there at 7am and worked until 4pm. What fun that was! :P Chris and his boyfriend David came over with wine, chips, and peanuts. Haha. We all fell asleep after like 40 minutes. I made us all breakfast the next morning.
Wine tasting was fun yesterday. My grandmother, her friend Anne, my Aunt Heike and Uncle Rainer, as well as Michael went wine tasting with me. This is the third time I have went to Maurer's, and I must say they never disappoint. It is a pleasure to be warmly welcomed by them and try all their new and exciting wines. I guess you could say they have turned into members of my extended family. That was just the right thing to do on a wet autumn day. :) Of course I didn't drink very much because I had to drive. Yes, needless to say, I contained myself. ;)
Today Michael and I slept in until nearly 11am. We were both extremely tired. I slept like a rock last night, too, so it was definitely worth it to sleep in. We were out looking for new shoe cabinets earlier, but the ones we found were either butt ugly or overpriced. Oh well. Perhaps another day.
