WHY NO RAIN, CA?

I know I said I was going to do a post about my departure from the paper, but I just can't. I am honestly happy being away from it. I have time to pursue my true major and passion, enjoy simple TV shows I've missed for forever, and catch up with friends. I don't want to back into the thoughts of the anger I hold over it. I made some great friends there, and for that I'm grateful, but it's over, thank goodness.

I attended my anthropology lecture and I really like it. It was given by Gary Shapiro, who has been working orangutans and teaching them sign language for 30 years. He was really sweet and I wouldn't mind if they asked him back.

I'm going on Monday to get the swine flu vaccine. Our college has 2,000 vaccines that they're giving out for free. I qualify under two sections set by the CDC, so I'm confident I'll get one.

Other than that, I lead a pretty boring life. I'm going back to Farmville now.
