But I HATE French films.
I vowed after seeing Fat Girl (Ma Soeur in French) that I would never ever see another French film again. It is really the most horrible painful movie ever made. Interested in seeing pre-teens being sexually abused? How about the most horrifying murder/rape scene ever? Go see this movie!
I broke my promise to myself to see Amelie, which was really an excellent film.
It gave me new hope, that not every French film would be a boring ass character study with a stilted, unbelievable plot and excessive sexuality.
So last night Sean talks me into going to see Swimming Pool.
Swimming Pool is a boring ass character study with a stilted, unbelieveable plot and excessive sexuality.
The hot teenage blonde is topless throughout the film though, so if you can put up with the rest of it, you might enjoy it.
Sean certainly did.
