And since it's too fine a cloudless day to waste vegetating inside the house, at Carlo's suggestion went off the beaten track to a park one train station away from our house.
It's the first time I've been to Minami-tama, and I had the intention of spending the last couple of hours before sunset finally sitting down somewhere and catch up on my correspondence. I brought along my camera, letter sets and pens, and a pack of M&Ms (the plain kind, since I don't like peanuts).
I still didn't get any writing done, but it felt good to just walk around with no place in particular to go (never minding that I may be lost, which really took some effort on my part to just leave it be and not worry too much kjhaskdhkjhdsk) and taking pictures of whatever caught my fancy -- even if it is just leaves strewn on the path lighted gold by the setting sun.
I should do this more often, I think.
But maybe next time I should pick a path where my brain doesn't go MOTHER FUCKING SPIDERS!!! every five steps >.< Because really THERE WERE TOO MANY FUCKING HUGE SPIDERS!!!!!!! *sob* But I didn't panic. And I didn't run. And I survived. YAY!
