So, tomorrow is Ian and Elle's wedding. It's a little odd to me that all these friends are getting married. I feel like that should be for some other age group, but not mine, because there's no way my friends and I are that old. But I guess we are. We've all hit the average age to get married point. In a few years it'll be the average age to have children point, which will also be very strange.

Ian was my first boyfriend. Many people ask me if it's going to be weird going to an ex's wedding. I say "uh, no, it was 10 years ago". And then I go "Dude, that was 10 years ago". Ugh. I hate how time flies.

Found a dress on Wednesday. I wasn't actually even going to try it on, but Steph said "It never hurts to try it on" to which I replied "well no, sometimes it does", but I did anyway. It was the last dress I tried on in a pile of dresses I was trying at Laura. I never buy anything in there, so I never expected anything to work. But lo and behold, when I came out of the changeroom, both Steph and the saleswoman went "wow! That's perfect!" so I bought it. And it was on sale. I'll post pics of the wedding and give my readers a glimpse of the dress. I won't even bother to describe it because I've done such a bad job trying to describe it before, but I'll just say - long, to my ankles, sleeveless, neck is higher than I normally get, but not too high. And I bought shoes yesterday! Woo! We kept shopping for Steph yesterday because she didn't find anything on Wednesday. I was looking for new sandals all summer, and then I go into this one store I never bothered to go into before, and there they were, and they were on final sale (originally $100) for $49.99. Woo!

Anyway, off to pack and get ready to go to Port Dover for the weekend for the wedding. Update on Sunday!

(oh, still sick...stayed home on Tuesday, took today off for wedding purposes...hooray for 2 day work week!)
